I started my career as a journalistic filmmaker. Getting to know extraordinary people and telling their moving stories has always been my passion. But to give my dedication for visual design more space, I went to Berlin in the early 2000s and started a second career as a director for music videos and advertising.

Here I also met the German film producer Felix Blum, with whom I founded the production company PROPELLERFILM . In over ten years of regular cooperation, a large number of awarded documentaries, movies and series have been realised for German and international audiences.

In addition to the large and very complex productions, my enthusiasm for manufacturing in small, agile teams grew. The increasing interest of the brands and their target groups in authentic protagonists and their real stories has further strengthened me in this way of working. High-quality, cinematic image design in combination with the highest degree of documentary authenticity, that is what characterizes the majority of my work today. Social media became the primary platform for this kind of storytelling. 

In addition I am currently writing the script for my first comedy movie.
